History

As the Argoth System of Jericho Sector faced a devastating planetary catastrophe, the Imperium’s refugee fleet launched a daring rescue mission to evacuate the endangered populace. Among the 10 million evacuees were skilled miners and workers, who had to abandon their homes and livelihoods to escape the encroaching cataclysm.

After arrival to Koronus Expanse, the news of the Argoth System’s fall reached the ears of Judge Mordechai, a renowned and respected figure known for his wisdom and determination to protect the Imperium’s interests. Seeing an opportunity to harness the potential of the skilled miners and the value of the resources they could offer to the Imperium, Judge Mordechai decided to take a decisive step.

With a heavy heart for the tragedy that befell the Argoth System, Judge Mordechai funded 820.M41 the installation of a large industrial arcology, the Dolabra Imperator. He spared no expense, ensuring the arcology was equipped with the best quality mineral processing facility the Imperium had ever seen. The Arcology was built on the north pole of planet Nothus known for its rich mineral reserves and promised to become a prospect for re-building for the dispossessed Argoth miners.

The Argoth Conglomerate, a crippled mining corporation from the fallen Argoth System, was deeply grateful to Judge Mordechai for his generous support and their annexation to Imperial taxation. They pledged their allegiance to him and made a vow for their expertise to aid in the construction structures required by Ordo Arbites in the system. Their skilled and ambitious prospectors launching the efforts, the arcology’s expansion was unstoppable.

As Dolabra Imperator flourished, it became a proof of the resilience of the Argoth miners. The evacuated miners found a new home within its towering domes under toxic atmosphere, and together they transformed the barren concrete into a thriving industrial powerhouse.

However, not all were pleased with Dolabra Imperator’s success. The Imperial penal colony PC-5728, located near south pole, had been relying on the planet’s mineral wealth to support its operations. The rise of Dolabra Imperator posed a direct threat to the colony’s dominance. Prison Warden Vladir, a cunning and ruthless individual, decided to take matters into his own hands.

Using his influence among the system, Vladir spread rumors and misinformation about the legitimacy of Dolabra Imperator’s claim to the mining rights. He accused the arcology’s leaders of trespassing, terrorism, heresy and illegally exploiting the Imperial resources, seeking to rally support for his cause.
