Tier 2 Talent – Aptitudes: Willpower, Leadership Prerequisites: Willpower 35+, Adeptus Ministorum or Adepta Sororitas background (or GM approval)
Through unswerving piety and utter surrender to the Emperor’s will, the character channels divine intent not through traditional psyker ability, but through faith-projection phenomena—manifestations that resemble psychic powers but are considered miraculous rather than suspicious.
Effects:
Each purchase of Pure Devotion grants 2 points of Faith Rating, a substitute for Psy Rating, used solely for Faith Talents or miracle effects.
Faith Rating can be used to determine: Range, duration, or magnitude of faith-based powers of Warpcraft system.
You may now acquire and activate Faith Talents (such as Purge the Unclean, Divine Ministration, Wrath of the Righteous, or others as approved by the GM).
When using Faith Talents, you may substitute Willpower for Perception or Fellowship in relevant tests to invoke effects, depending on the nature of the miracle.
You gain a +10 bonus on Command or Charm tests made while delivering religious exhortation (e.g., rallying troops, invoking holy wrath, leading prayer).
Gain Resistance (Psychic Powers) if facing enemies of the Warp while invoking a Faith Talent or public act of devotion.
Restrictions:
You must not have the Psyker or Untouchable trait or be marked by the Warp in any form.
If your Corruption reaches 10 or more, you may not use any Faith Talents until it is lowered.
Using this Talent may draw the attention of the Inquisition or Ecclesiarchy if misused, especially outside sanctioned orders or local Imperial creed.
Pure Devotion may be purchased a limited number of times, depending on origin:
