Description:

The moon that orbits a gas giant planet in an incredibly low orbit is a world of extremes, buffeted by powerful gravitational forces and harsh radiation from its parent planet. As the moon circles its gas giant parent, it is pulled and tugged by the planet’s immense gravity, creating a tidal force that distorts the moon’s shape and heats up its interior. This tidal heating is responsible for a wide range of geological phenomena on the moon’s surface, from towering volcanoes to vast, deep canyons.

Because of its low orbit, the moon is subjected to intense gravitation from the gas giant planet, which can cause a wide range of planetary and atmospheric phenomena. At times, the moon’s skies are filled with dazzling auroras, caused by the interaction between the planet’s magnetic field and the moon’s atmosphere.
