Sayings of the Teacher is a collection of logions—short, enigmatic statements attributed to an unnamed Teacher—presented in the style of early apocryphal and gnostic texts.
This work draws inspiration from ancient sources while offering a new interpretation aligned with themes of awakening, division, and hidden truth.
It is intended as a creative supplement for use with KULT: Divinity Lost, supporting its gnostic horror occult setting and its exploration of illusion, control, and the nature of reality.
These sayings are not meant to instruct, but to unsettle.
Not to explain, but to reveal.
They may be read as scripture, as fragments of a lost tradition, or as echoes breaking through the Illusion.

Afterword
This collection of sayings was inspired by early Christian and gnostic traditions, particularly the hypothetical Q Source—a proposed compilation of sayings believed to underlie the Synoptic Gospels. The structure of short, independent logions reflects this tradition: teachings preserved not as narrative, but as fragments meant to be remembered, repeated, and interpreted.
In shaping this text, sayings and themes were cross-referenced with the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke), alongside non-canonical writings such as the Gospel of Thomas, Gospel of Philip, Gospel of Mary, and traditions associated with Marcion. From these sources come recurring motifs: the hidden kingdom, the reversal of values, the call to awakening, and the tension between the visible world and a deeper, concealed reality.
At the same time, this work is not a reconstruction of any historical document. It is a reinterpretation.
Certain elements have been deliberately emphasized or reframed—particularly those resonant with gnostic and esoteric thought: division and unity, forgetting and remembering, inner light, and the structures that bind perception. These themes align closely with the cosmology and tone of KULT: Divinity Lost, where reality itself is a constructed illusion and awakening comes at a cost.
In this sense, the text stands between traditions:
- drawing from early Christian sources
- shaped through gnostic interpretation
- and adjusted toward occult and psychological frameworks
Each gospel written and rewritten has been shaped by the ones who wrote them.
Those before did not only preserve words— they interpreted and even altered them.
This text is my contribution to that great tradition.
