Dies Tonantis (Day of the Thunderer)

  • Dedicated to the Emperor as the bringer of divine retribution. Prayers and rites focus on His role in delivering justice against heretics and xenos. Thunderous ceremonies on planetary atmospheres and from orbits call upon His power to protect humanity.

5th–19th Days:

Ludi Imperia (Games of the Imperium)

  • The grandest games of the year, celebrating the Emperor’s triumphs and the strength of the Imperium. Ceremonies include gladiatorial contests, reenactments of key battles, and parades honoring saints and warriors. Planetary governors often use these games to demonstrate their loyalty to the Throne.

13th Day:

Ides of the Great Temple

  • Celebrates the anniversary of the consecration of the Temple of the Emperor Ascendant on Terra. Pilgrims gather in massive processions to offer thanks for the Emperor’s eternal guidance.

14th Day:

Equorum Probatio (Approval of the Steeds)

  • A ceremonial parade of cavalry forces, honoring both Imperial Guard cavalry and Adeptus Astartes biker units. The faithful bless mounts, war machines, and vehicles, invoking the Emperor’s strength in combat.

20th–23rd Days:

Mercatus Magnificus (Great Imperial Fair)

  • A celebration of trade, progress, and the Emperor’s provision. Markets across the Imperium hold fairs, and noble houses arrange marriages to reaffirm alliances. The faithful offer prayers for prosperity under the Emperor’s light.

23rd Day:

Dies Rededicationis Apollinis (Rededication of the Temple of Apollo)

  • A day of reflection and rededication to the Emperor’s wisdom and enlightenment. Scholars and Adepts perform ceremonies to ensure their works align with His divine will.

26th Day:

Venus Genetrix (Day of Unity)

  • Celebrates the Emperor’s unification of humanity. It is a day for the faithful to reaffirm their bonds as one Imperium under His guidance. On Terra, it is marked by feasts and symbolic gestures of unity between the noble houses.

28th Day:

Dies Solis Vindictae (Day of the Sun’s Vengeance)

  • A fiery festival dedicated to the Emperor’s wrath against the enemies of humanity. Massive pyres are lit, symbolizing the cleansing power of the Emperor’s light. It is a day of reckoning for those who have faltered in their faith.
