Imperial Holy Calendar: Aprilis (April)

Aprilis is a month of growth, renewal, and resilience, balancing celebrations of nature’s bounty with rituals to ward against corruption and decay. It is a time for the faithful to honor the Emperor’s providence, the strength of His saints, and the purity of the Imperium’s mission.


1st Day:

Veneralia Divinitatis (Day of the Emperor’s Grace)

  • A day to honor the Emperor’s mercy and blessings. Temples hold mass ceremonies where the faithful offer thanks for the continued survival of humanity and pray for His continued protection against the enemies of the Imperium.

4th–10th Days:

Megalesia Mater Magna (Week of the Great Mother)

  • A week dedicated to the Magna Mater, an ancient pre-Imperial saint associated with fertility, resilience, and the nurturing of Imperial worlds. Agricultural planets hold festivals to bless their fields, while hive cities conduct rites and examines to ensure population remains reproductive.

12th–19th Days:

Ludi Cerialia (Games of Ceres)

  • A festival of work and harvest honoring Saint Ceres, who led a crusade to reclaim agri-worlds from xenos invaders. The Games include contests of endurance, skill, and labor to inspire the faithful to serve with diligence and strength.

15th Day:

Dies Fordicidia (Day of Sacrifice to Terra)

  • A solemn day where sacrifices are offered to the spirit of Holy Terra itself, asking for it’s continued stability as the cradle of humanity and the seat of the Emperor’s power.

18th Day:

Anniversary of Saint Agrianna’s Crusade

  • Celebrates Saint Agrianna, who led a legendary campaign to purify warp-tainted ecosystems on several vital agri-worlds durng Great Crusade. Rites include the blessing of seeds and the sanctification of lands for planting.

21st Day:

Parilia Sancti Terrae (Day of the Imperium’s Foundation)

  • Honors the founding of Terra’s earliest institutions under the Emperor during the mythical Unification Wars. Pilgrims light giant searchlights and portable light sources in honor of the Emperor’s triumph over ancient warlords and the establishment of His divine rule.

23rd Day:

Vinalia Prioris (Feast of the First Wine)

  • A celebratory feast commemorating the survival of Imperium’s cultural traditions. Nobles and priests bless ceremonial offerings of wine and food, symbolizing the Imperium’s strength and continuity despite countless millennia of servitude.

25th Day:

Robigalia Puritas (Festival of Purity)

  • A day to ward against mutation and disease. Sacrifices and prayers are offered to the Emperor and saintly intercessors to protect crops, manufactorums, and citizens from warp corruption, xenos influence, and heretical decay.

27th–30th Days:

Ludi Florales (Festival of Saint Flora)

  • A joyous festival honoring Saint Flora, a martyr who found working STC template of hydroponics star vessel component. The faithful plant flowers in her name, and great processions celebrate her sacrifice. In hive cities, artificial gardens and shrines are processioned to honor her gift of survival.
