Warpcraft Affinities

  • Affinities represent a narrow focus or signature relationship with a specific psychic aspect.
  • They are tied thematically to a Technique + Form, but express a particular flavor or application.
  • A psyker may begin with 1+Psy Rating/3 affinities and gains them as Psy rating increases. If Talisman or Relic raises characters Psy Rating it does not provide more affinities.

Affinities

Here is a set of sample Affinities, categorized under each Technique and Form. Players and game can create suitable affinities as their characters and campaign evolve.


Techniques

Create

  • Warpfire Generation – Specializes in summoning unstable warp flames
  • Unnatural Life-Birth – Creating lifeforms or servitors
  • Tactical Conjuror – Creating battlefield tools: barricades, cover, weapons
  • Plague Catalyst – Generates contagious or mutagenic warp-matter

Control

  • Telekinetic Precision – Fine manipulation of matter or weapons
  • Psychic Puppeteer – Manipulating bodies or machines remotely
  • Daemonic Binding – Controlling warp entities via ritual or will
  • Magnetic Dominion – Control over metal, armor, and conductive materials

Know

  • Soul-Reading – Special insight into emotions, truth, or mental states
  • Psy-Tracking – Detection of warp activity, trails, psychic residue
  • Death Recall – Extracting visions or knowledge from corpses or echoes
  • Prophetic Fractals – Long-view or intuitive pattern-based divination

Destroy

  • Entropy Channel – Decomposing, rusting, or corrupting matter
  • Disruption Pulse – Breaking psychic cohesion or machine circuits
  • Neural Burn – Destroying organic thought patterns
  • Veil-Eater – Erasing illusions, protections, and glamours

Forms

Life

  • Bloodcraft – Manipulate or weaponize blood and bodily fluids
  • Beast Echo – Special affinity with animal instincts or traits
  • Gene-Reversal – Mutate, devolve, or “erase” life traits
  • Sickness of Will – Disease effects that target soul/mind/body alignment

Matter

  • Ironshaper – Manipulate and reshape weapons, armor, machines
  • Stone-Tongue – Earthquake, tunneling, or speaking through stone
  • Corrosion Vector – Acid, rust, and decay-based control
  • Construct Whisperer – Control of machines and servitors via psychic resonance

Force

  • Pyrokinetic (Fire) – Direct and passionate manipulation of flame
  • Electrokinetic – Control and projection of electrical force
  • Void Pressure – Vacuum, shockwaves, and explosive displacement
  • Kinetic Armor – Defensive fields of inertia and force

Mind

  • Dreamshaper – Illusions, hallucinations, and mental overlays
  • Empath – Emotional control or amplification
  • Pain Architect – Manipulation of sensation and trauma
  • Thought Leech – Extraction and theft of knowledge or identity

Warp

  • Daemonologist – Expert in summoning, binding, and bargaining
  • Reality Jumper – Aids teleport-through Warp phenomena
  • Rift-Touched – Opens micro-portals or warp tears for offensive or sensory use
  • Taint Harmonizer – Uses corruption as power source (radical psykers)
